Leading up to the 2020 Regina Chamber of Commerce Paragon Awards, we are reflecting on the 2019 awards season when our CEO and President, Jennifer Denouden, was named Regina’s Young Entrepreneur of the year!
Jenn is often asked “how did you become so lucky?” If it’s one thing our team has learned over the past seven years is that luck is not the key to success. Jenn often reminds our team that “luck favours the prepared” – again for those of you in the back, luck favours the prepared. Let’s unpack this quote. Although many factors pilot the success of a company, we need to acknowledge the qualities that set the framework for a successful business. We believe that having a leader that is audacious in their vision, passionate about their goals, dedicated to building a team on integrity and honesty, leads with a purpose driven by their values, while forecasting blockades in the road and navigating those tough waters, will ultimately set the foundation of an innovative, progressive and successful company.
We are proud of our leader and believe that Jenn holds the key characteristics for continued success. Over the years we have been met with many hurdles, big and small, and Jenn has focused, pivoted when necessary and led our team to being recognized as one of the top 10 high growth companies across Canada! Although COVID-19 has negatively impacted many aspects in life, we are really looking forward to the next 12 months and all of the great opportunities that are on the horizon.
We are excited to share our story with all of you and hope you continue to follow along on our journey of inspiring young entrepreneurs, encouraging and leading social change in our communities and working to leave the world a better place for the next generation of leaders.
